Struggling to find the connection between "they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel" and "tithing to the Adventist Church is the only way for the gospel to reach every tongue, nation", e.t.c. I believe many supporting ministries and even independent ministries do as much or more than the church to reach the unsaved, should they not also "live of the gospel"?

Sorry but this video is misleading, because apparently it connects dollar sign to tithing while the original elements of commanded tithings were agricultures, land produce from the promised land Canaan to be practiced by the Jews from the old covenant, not money. The Bible is very clear that after the cross, the new covenant comes and tithing no longer mentioned there to be practiced by Christian believers.

*** VERY IMPORTANT **** Tithing in the law has never been money and there’s a reason why. So now, under the new covenant, you are to give a freewill offering. Ok under the law, the children of God did not have the Holy Ghost. They had the law to lead and guide them , so they needed a percentage, but now under the new covenant, all the children of God has the Holy Ghost to lead and guide them they do not need a percentage that’s why the tithe was done away with , along with the temple, the storehouse, the ark of the covenant , animal sacrificing and etc. The Saints have become the first fruit unto God ( Revelation 14:4), through the Holy Ghost in our hearts, offering up fruit unto the Lord before we enter into the promised land ( HOLY CITY). The Catholic Church made a law requiring mandatory tithing in the form of money to fund their armies. The crusaders , to build their big cathedrals, pay off the politicians and fill their filthy lucre pockets. Search the scriptures for in them you think you have life.. look at the fruits of churches today that required tithing how it has become carnal and a business with board members and etc. What happens when you turn it into a lie , one of the examples out of many. for example ; The so-called preacher tells you bring the tithes to the store house, which is nowhere in the Bible, where the church building becomes the storehouse. Then they deposit or store the money in the bank. So by turning The Truth into a lie you make the storehouse, the Satanist Freemason Luciferian, financial institution system!!! I have so many examples, but I’ll show you another one , just one more ; if the Saints have become the temples of God and the holy and royal priesthood as we being the temples and priest, why are you giving a tithe ? It was the priest that collected the Tithe at the storehouse at The Temple ???? Also, the tide could only come out the land of Israel, where God chose to put His Name. That’s why we are baptized in the name of Jesus Christ to take on God‘s name now by us being made from the dust of the ground, we have become the land and God‘s heritage where he has chosen to put His Name. So again, if we are the priest, we are the storehouse we are the land that birds, the name of God and we are his heritage and we are redeemed through the blood of Jesus Christ. Why are you you so-called preachers, requiring those same people to give a tide, especially in the form of money or Mammon ???? ( Leviticus 27:31); The Saints are the redeemed so according to Leviticus, the children of God can redeem the tide you didn’t know did you the Israelite Saints in the old days were able to buy back their ties they paid the fifth part with Jesus Christ paid the price for us ( Leviticus 27:31). Now we are redeemed why are you laying the law ties in on the people that has been redeemed through the blood of Christ oh how the most high will judge you all in the last days !!!!! The 144,000 in the book of revelation is the first fruit of the Jews to God also ( Revelation chapter 7:4-8). See when you follow, man and man’s traditions, you make the commandments of God of none effect . Come back to Truth , quit following that Catholic doctrine . You look at the lie of the tithe has destroyed the churches through generations, that the churches have become a business and a form of godliness, denying the power. Repent and obey Acts 2:38 to have the name of Jesus Christ applied to your life and not titles. it’s baptism in the name of the lamb to apply his blood on your life to wash away your sins ( Hebrews 9:20-22 & 10:18 & Revelation 1:5 & Mathew 26:28). Mathew 28:19 did not say baptized, and father son, and Holy Ghost go back and read it again. It said, baptize them in “ THE NAME OF “….. then Jesus himself told us it is his name how we receive remission of sins ( Luke 24:47). Then the apostle Peter told us when you baptize in the name of Jesus Christ that is for the remission of sins ( Acts 2:38). The church is need to come back to the apostles doctrine, which is Bible . The tithe is not something the New Testament commands for the Church. This video has hidden what the Bible says about Tithing. Read about the 3 times of tithes for the nation of Israel: 1) What is the tithe (Lev 27:30-34), spoiler alert the tithes is never money. Money had other purposes (Num 18:16) 2) The 1 tithe was for the tribe of Levi (10%), which 1% is kept by the priests.(Numbers 18. 3) The tithe was only given while inhabiting the promise land. Deut 12 4) The second tithe was for the people (Israelites) to keep for themselves and eat themselves (Dt 12). 4) The third tithe was collected every 3 years and was given to the poor, the widows, and orphans (Deut 14:28-29)

But we aren't living in a Theocracy as was the Old Testament.

Just for some clarification... Abraham didn't pay tithe to the Church / Levite Priest. He paid tithe to a Canaanite King from the spoils of war. Melchizedek was a Canaanite king and wasn't of the Levite line, therefore he couldn't receive tithe as we think of the Israelites tithing. I cringe when Abraham is used as a way of proving the tithing system.

Pastor did you know that, concerning giving, or tithing, or prosperity, Malachi 3:8-12 is not the full counsel of God? It is an excerpt, quoted to the church for centuries (believe it or not), which is a misrepresentation of God's counsel. We've accepted it because that's what we have always been taught. Here are a few points to consider. -- Who did God appoint to receive tithes? God said, "And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth [the tithe] in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation (Numbers 18:21). In this scripture, God established who receives the tithe (the Levites), and why they received it (they received no inheritance, and they served in the temple). This assignment is exclusive to Levites. A pastor cannot assume this assignment, he has never been scripturally assigned by God to collect tithes, he is not a Levite. In that same sense, only a Levite, never a pastor, could ever serve in a Jewish temple. The church has not replaced the Jewish temple, and pastors have not replaced Levites. -- People are blessed when they give, not because of Malachi 3, which is based on the Law of Moses, an Old Testament law that has been replaced by Grace under Christ, at the cross. They are blessed because Jesus said, "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you" (Luke 6:38). It is this principle of giving and receiving at work, when we give and are blessed. Excellent. However, business owners, as opposed to salary earners, have a problem which is that "increase" is an accounting source of dispute. Net or gross? Etc. Some business owners just "tithe" 1% of all revenue to their church. If a busy restaurant has an income of $25,000 each day and is open all days of the week the "tithe" is: $7,625 to their church every month approx. I believe God is flexible and realistic about this. :)
